Did Saturn Really Enter Pisces in 2025… or Will It Only Happen in 2026?
Many astrologers say Saturn moved from Aquarius to Pisces on March 29, 2025.
But others insist the real transit will happen only on March 6, 2026. Even the famous Saturn temple, Thirunallar Temple, conducted special pujas based on this date.
So why are there two different dates for the same planetary transit?
The Answer Lies in Two Different Panchangam Systems:
- Traditional almanacs based on ancient mathematical formulas
- Modern almanacs based on astronomical calculations
Let us consider a simple example.
If one almanac says sunrise is 5:35 AM and another says 5:55 AM, the correct one should be the actual sunrise time observed on that day.
The same logic can be applied to Saturn.
According to astronomical observations, Saturn moved from Aquarius to Pisces on March 29, 2025. Planetary motion is gradual, but the final entry into Pisces occurred on that date.
So the real question is:
If astronomy shows Saturn already entered Pisces in 2025, should astrologers still consider the transit only in 2026?
